Privacy Policy

Notifier runs on a VPS hosted by Hetzner that only I have access to. The VPS is located in Germany. The data are also backed up regularly off-site.

Every page on the website is served through SSL.

Only the following third-party scripts are used on the website:

• Goat Counter (on every page): to see how visitors interact with the website. These data are used later to improve Notifier.
• Sentry (on every page): to track JS errors and generate reports, which are used later to fix bugs.
• CommentBox (on the pricing and blog post pages): to let visitors comment.
• Braintree (on the pricing page): to render the payment widget.

I don't share user data (e.g. email addresses, notifications) with third parties.

The website uses cookies to store user sessions.

Do not use Notifier for transmitting truly sensitive information.

In case of a privacy breach, you will receive a full explanation of the circumstances as soon as possible (including the data that has been leaked) and what measures will be taken to prevent a recurrence.
